The Phobic Trust of New Zealand Inc. 'Anxiety Disorders Clinics' does not discriminate against any one suffering from a severe anxiety phobic and obsessive compulsive disorder and their co-mobid states.
We employ professionally qualified staff who can treat people of all ages and culture regardless of their gender and ethnicity.
Phobias and Disability
Having a fear or phobia can make you very disabled, which means that you may not be able to do things your friends, or even you, used to be able to do.
Unlike people who are in a wheelchair or have a broken leg, people cannot see the disabilities that people with fears and phobias have. When people cannot see hidden disabilities and fears, they don't understand why children can't do things that they find easy and more importantly, understand why these people feel as they do.
We need to talk about fears and phobias so that others understand and help.
