AN URGENT REQUEST
from Marcia Read, CEO of the Phobic Trust — PLEASE SIGN OUR PETITION
The Capital and Coast District Health Board (Wellington Region) has cut the contract which helps the Phobic Trust fund the Wellington Anxiety Disorders Clinic. This clinic helps many anxiety disorder sufferers in the Wellington region. We urgently need your help to keep our service running in Wellington.
The Clinic is vital to the Wellington community because it provides a 'specialist service' for people with anxiety disorders. These are people for whom anxiety is debilitating and incapacitating. Many resort to alcohol or drug abuse and, more sadly, suicide. We believe the service is needed. We have been told the only way to demonstrate this is for people to tell the DHB it is needed.
The petition we are asking you to send will show your support for Government and the Capital and Coast DHB Board to reconsider their decision, and to reinstate the contract which we need to help those in the Wellington region. Please show your support for us by signing the petition.
Click here to go to the Petition page: This link will take you to the Petition website in a new window - please take a few moments to fill in the petition and support our Wellington clinic.
Thank you for your Support
